Paid Campaigns for Installs and Sign-Ups

An install looks like a user on a report. Frequently it is someone who opened the app once and forgot it. Acquisition work here is judged on what people do after the install.

The Install Is Where Measurement Starts

Install counts are easy to raise and easy to misread. The figures below say far more about whether a campaign is working, so they are set up and tested before any budget is committed.

  1. The first action that shows real use: an account created, a first order, a first record saved.
  2. Whether those people come back after their first few days with the app.
  3. What each of those returning users cost, rather than what each install cost.

Some Apps Should Not Be Advertised Yet

Paying to bring people into an app that loses them does not grow anything. If any of the following is true, we say so and suggest fixing it first.

  • The app crashes or crawls on the inexpensive phones a large share of its audience owns.
  • Most people who open it give up before they finish signing up.
  • The events that would show a result are not yet being recorded.
  • The store listing does not explain what the app is for.

Our Own Apps and Yours

ZEVORA ENTERPRISE runs acquisition for applications it owns, and pays for that advertising itself. It also runs acquisition as a managed service for clients, who remain the advertiser and the owner of the application being promoted.

No Cost per Install Is Promised

That figure moves with the product, the store listing, the market, the season and the budget. What can be offered is honest measurement, changes made for a stated reason, and the numbers shown to you as they are.

Promoting an App Does Not Make It Ours

ZEVORA ENTERPRISE handles two kinds of application: its own, and those owned by clients.

Responsibility for an application ZEVORA ENTERPRISE owns lies with ZEVORA ENTERPRISE alone.

A client who hires ZEVORA ENTERPRISE for development, management or advertising work keeps ownership of the product, and only a signed written agreement could change that.
